Hagan's Accused of 'Tapping Up' Guantanamo Legend

The B-Liga has erupted in scandal, with Hagan's Heroes accused of tapping up a rival player.

Racing Guantanamo have penned a strongly worded letter to the Broome Soccer Association regarding a phone call allegedly made to Guantanamo legend Francois 'The Rock' Kruger by Heroes President Mike Doyle, asking him to join their team.

According to the complaint, Doyle made the call last night at around 9pm after talking to Guantanamo chairman Ryan Platten about the availability of Kruger for the rest of the season. Platten allegedly told Doyle that Kruger was currently injured, and the Mighty Orange would be aiming to play him in the last couple of games of the season.

Kruger allegedly informed Platten and Guantanamo Captain Andy Smyth of the call earlier today. According to Kruger, Doyle offered to buy out Kruger's registration fee for the remainder of the season. No offer was tabled to his contracted club.

Smyth stated today that he was 'disgusted' by the actions of Hagan's Heroes in tapping up his legendary goalkeeper.

If the complaint is accepted by the BSA, Hagan's Heroes could suffer a fate similar to that of Chelsea FC, who, earlier this year, were banned from signing any new players until 2011.

This scandal is sure to give some fire to the next clash between the two B-Liga heavyweights, who are dude to go head-to-head in two weeks time.

  1. Doyle is a disgrace. His actions should be officially sanctioned by the BSA organising committee. With due respect to the Racing G team the president shouldn't be pilfering from one of the most consistently struggling teams in the competition. I personally hope Kruger ignores the overtures from the "blue bloods" of the comp and stays true to the renowned Guantanamo club......
