Dora the Explorer has finally been reunited with her friend Backpack.
Backpack was thought to be lost forever after recent adventures in the underwater kingdom.
But Dora never gave up hope and with the help of her other friends was able to find Backpack.
Now they can continue to have many more fun adventures together.
I take it that this is a metaphor for something that only a couple of people are privy to, and therefore pretty pointless having on here....
ReplyDeleteWhilst it could be argued a creative mind can construe anything as metaphoric, particularly children's stories set in underwater kingdoms. I would suggest this text lends itself more to allegory. In fact if we each take a moment to constructively critic this work i think we will each discover meaning beyond the figurative in the piece. Indeed the existential thoughts that the text provokes suggests the writing, at the very least, is serving a purpose. Plus everybody knows Dora is a big fan of the BSA and we are looking forward to more adventures.
